Sigh...

Ok, I will admit that having to not get up at 5 this morning was nice, but as I tried to get the day moving forward; the day went downhill from there. Phone call to the lady about car seats was a joke, and the therapist call was equally a wash. Perhaps being at work is the only thing I can be good at...honestly running away is the only solution today..but Paul has the van and I am too lazy to walk up and get it.

A new look on an old holiday...

Tried something new today, and it was an epic fail. I thought taking the kids trick or treating at the mall would be cool, and a nice alternative to freezing tomorrow night, should the weather get really cold. This was a bad idea, for after half an hour, the kids had been given a sticker and a sucker. This may be a new twist on the old holiday, but it is simply wrong. The baby was bored, and his sister wondered what we were doing. If the two and three year olds know this is a joke, well...enough said. So tomorrow night, dressed warm, we will go out the old fashioned way and beg door to door. New is not always better...

Unfriended...on purpose.

I deactivated my Facebook today, and hope to keep it that way. I have found that far too much of not only my life, but that of my children, is way too public. My focus is not on the right things, and my patience is non-existent. Although this is not the fault of Facebook, it is certainly not helping. E has all of these things going on in his life, and Bria is simply an amazing young girl...this is where my world has to be. This is where my focus needs to start, and my family (husband included) is currently suffering from a lack of attention. Here is to my first day of freedom; to finding out who my real "friends" are; and making the future amazing for those who matter most.
